Role Model Speaker & Outreach Volunteer

Goal of this work: Help identify and recruit industry champions for a vibrant community outreach program supported by the Role Model Speakers Bureau. Action items:

  • Recommend & help recruit industry champions
  • Update materials for recruitment, Role Model Speaker training and leadership skills
  • Offer recommendations on use of social media and technology to streamline processes for speaker engagement and recognition
  • Offer recommendations on use of online media for the above

Rosie’s Girls Volunteer

Goal of this work: Revitalize Rosie’s Girls in NE Ohio. Action Items:

  • Familiarize self with Rosie’s Girls national website and licensing guidelines at www.rosiesgirls.org
  • Help build a schedule and volunteer / donor engagement strategies
  • Help build a project timeline and budget
  • Host once a month social hour / networking (at location you determine)
  • Create an evite and/or social media invitation that each of us can use to invite people we know
  • Work with leadership to determine the right people to invite to Rosie’s Girls events

Development and Communication

Goal of this work: Raise funds and awareness for HHW Ohio. Action items may include:

  • Help build the HHW Ohio stakeholder database
  • Review past grants and help recommend a twelve month strategy
  • Support grant writing, events or direct appeals
  • Help update and create HHW Ohio communication materials
